The first one was the most terrifying as I got t-boned at an intersection in Terrell and my car skidded into a ditch. I didn't have right of way and screwed up by pulling out. My fault. The lady who hit me was 8 months pregnant. Yikes!

She ended up OK and so did her baby, but I was freaking out. It was night time and pouring rain. Totaled the car.

The next time was only about two months later when, again, it was raining. I slammed on my breaks when someone cut me off without signaling and hydroplaned into the wall at the 635 and 35 split. That car was totaled as well.

Crazy story though...glad you're OK. Accidents are a terrifying experience.Bobbynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8163453805527279180.post-74395802356472201262010-01-26T23:31:19.864-06:002010-01-26T23:31:19.864-06:00Rebecca, Thanks for recounting your perspectives o...Rebecca, Thanks for recounting your perspectives of a day that none of us will soon forget. With one hand in a cast, it is a Herculean effort for you to capture this! I have told you before, but I am very thankful you are going to be all right. And gratified by the friends and strangers that have stepped up to offer their help. Even in the midst of this terrible thing, good things have still happened, and we have all been blessed.Dadnoreply@blogger.com
